 About School |
| The management school was established
in October of 1998. It mainly trains the senior specialized managerial talents
for every department, profession and trade of our society, with basic theories
of advanced management science, and advanced management thoughts, methods,
and the ability to deicide and organize. |

The school is divided
into 4 departments, including political science and administration
department, tourism management department, information management
department, knowledge resources ma nagement
department and archives department. There are 6 bachelors’ degrees.
They are administrative management, the government utility management,
political and administrative science, information management and systems,
library science, archives science. In addition, there are 5 research
institutes, such as the public management institute, the Miao nationality
culture institute, the social security institute, the E-government
institute, the information resources management institute. There are
4 laboratories ,which are the documents processed and protected laboratory,
the information technology laboratory, the simulation and case analysis
of public administrative decision laboratory, and the E-government
laboratory. What’s more, our school
is the base of further education and training for professional and
technical librarians and other information service personnel in Hunan
Province. The school is self-contained in teaching. There are more
than 150 computers in the information technology laboratory, and more
than 24000 volumes of books collected in the reference room. A group
of steady students practicing bases has been set up inside and outside
the province. |
